Zechs said:
Name: Zechs
Species: Timberwolf
Sex: Male
Age: 3
Height: 2.5ft
Weight: 130lbs
Details: Zechs is rather slimly built. What he lacks in size he makes up for in speed and agility, and he has a solid bite. He is good at clinging to things to drive them mad while somebody else goes in for the kill. He can't really give out much of a beating, strength-wise, but he can take one. He makes up for shortcomings with endurance. He would much rather make several small attacks to wear out an opponent than go for one big one. Thus he spends a lot of time in one-on-one fights dodging instead of striking.
Pack: Lykopis
Rank: undecided
Mate: none
Voice: Something of a match to his personality, it has something of a "gawky teenager" quality to it, especially when he gets excited. He is definitely more tenor than baritone.
Personality: While generally a good guy, Zechs is VERY easily fired up. You could call this fellow a little high-strung. He always seems to have some manic source of energy, so he can seem a little twitchy. He also becomes easily angered when somebody's causing trouble. He has a real soft spot for most, if not all females, but he's not a flirt. Instead, he sort of treats them like precious treasures that have to be guarded - so don't EVER mess with a female around him, or you'll get to see what his temper looks like.
History: Zechs grew up with his mother and three sisters, he being the only male in the family. His father he knew only by word of mouth, as some worthless scum who did not even deserve a name. His birth was due to the transgressions of this worthless scum, and thus at an early age it was stressed into him that he needed to respect females. Initially his mother had wanted to kill him, not wanting to see another male. But an elder sister, having come from a litter before the accursed male entered their lives, spoke reason and the boy was spared. At first his mother was coarse with him, but began to soften as she saw that he was not his father's son.
Though his mother perhaps did not intend him to be wholly submissive to females, and merely wanted him to be a gentleman, he grew to think of most males as being like his father, untrustworthy around females. To him, females were the superior race. Unfortunately due to his opinion of other males, Zechs does on occasion worry that he will grow up like his father, though anyone that really knows him would see there is little chance of that.
His mother and sisters were his world. He lived and breathed just to be with them, to help care for them. He always considered himself below them, insisting on doing those tasks for them that seemed a waste of their time. They were the strong ones, the smart ones, the beautiful ones, and he loved his family dearly. His sisters, too, cared for him, though they were not above teasing now and then. The firstborn of the litter was the warmest to him. The last born, the only of his sisters younger than he, was the one who often taunted him. But he never taunted back. He thought that's what it meant to respect them.
When his mother at last died of old age, he and his sisters gathered round to hear her final words of praise for her beloved babies, telling them to do her proud wherever they went. All were deeply saddened by the loss, though they knew she had died peacefully and having lived, for the most part, a good life. Though Zechs thought it best for them to cling to the family and grieve together, each of the sisters could not bear to see another face, and each wandered off to mourn alone. They all promised to see one another someday, but whether that promise will be kept remains to be seen.
Still grieving, Zechs went in search of a place where the world might make a little sense again. It was in his wandering sadness that he heard of Lykopis and the strong females that ruled there. This, he decided, was a place to call home. Someday, perhaps, he will ask permission of the Queens to seek out his sisters and bring them to this pack... a pack where they could thrive and feel at home, for they too are good and strong.
