Phoebus said:
A shattered heart, a broken soul
betrayed by those he would console.
Yet what could he do, battered and worn
but help the ones who'd left him torn?

(If anybody knows the proper credit for the above poem, please let me know. Whoever wrote it certainly deserves his or her name up there.)
Full Name: Phoebus Apollo
Nicknames: Phoebus, Apollo, Phoe
Species: Timberwolf
Sex: Male
Age: 4
Height: 2.5 feet
Weight: 100lbs
Appearance: Gray fur. Black patches around the eyes, ears, legs, tail tip, and back. Pale cream underbelly. Eyes silver with a faintly blue tone.
Pack: None
Mate: None
Personality: Too softhearted for his own good, he will often help others even against his better judgement. However, after a few betrayals his help is often offered with something of a dejected posture, as though he expects it to happen again. He just can't seem to help himself, though... he just can't convince himself to stay out of it rather than risking another letdown.
History: He was a kindhearted soul from birth, making his way in the pack through friendships rather than strength and eventually becoming a talented healer. One night as he wandered near the borders, he spied a pair of injured strangers struggling to even walk. Taking pity on them, he brought them inside the pack grounds, where he and his family cared for them. But their kindness was repayed with cruelty, the strangers launching an ambush after having returned to their own pack. There was terrible slaughter on both sides, and in the end, Apollo and the two strangers were the ones left standing, they once again badly wounded. Being such a kindhearted soul, he could see no recourse but to help them again, for though they had betrayed his pack, they needed his help again now. As soon as they were well they left him in the night, never so much as a thank you for his troubles.

(By the way, if anybody feels like playing the two wolves who betrayed him, just let me know. It's not a necessary part of his history, but if anybody thinks it would be fun, go for it.)
